Happy 4th of July!*

J loving staying up late:

I took this as a gigantic firework flashed, but mysteriously, there is no firework in the pic:

Hope everyone had a good 4th of July.  It seemed strange that it was on a Friday.  No build- up...or time to prepare...just bam...a holiday.  We went to the beach with the crowds and then went to a neighbors for BBQ and to watch fireworks.  We let the boys stay up to see them...I think W was more interested in "baboo"-ing over all of the lawn chairs.  (Baboo is his word for crawling)...and J was not quite sure what to think of the fireworks.  The fireworks were pretty far from us so there wasn't too much noise to keep their attention.  A fun day nonetheless-and early naptimes today.
W at the beach earlier in the day:
The boys had some seriously curly hair at the beach:

All Done....

And another video...

He looks grumpy bc he had already said "all done" about six times before I grabbed the camera to get a video of him saying it. It is funny to us to actually hear him say it since he has been signing "all done" for so long...

Timber!

Wyatt's new favorite game. He pulls off our chair cushion, places it just right next to the sofa, climbs up, and:

Snoop Froggy Frog and 2 Doggy Dogs

Here is our new house guest. Snoop Froggy Frog resides just outside our front door on top of our house light. We may have a Snoop Froggy Frog Jr. residing next to our carport house light as well.

Such a happy green frog.

I can't believe it is 1 July. June really went by fast for me. We had big storms yesterday so it was nice and cool out this morning. The boys, dogs, and I went on a jog to the park and could actually stay and play for a good hour without getting too hot.
Speaking of the dogs, Katy and Bear are very different in regards to doing their "business." Katy NEVER poops when we go on walks or runs. Ever. Bear does 98.9% of the time. And at the worst possible moments. You know, just when a car (or two) will actually stop at an intersection to let us cross the street....and Bear decides (right in the middle of the crosswalk and with a full audience) to poop.
And I am pretty sure she has almost crashed Geoff on his bike a couple of times going to a dead stop to poop while he is riding fast on his bike with the dogs sprinting on either side of him. Or when I walk an entire very long street with not one person in site...she will stop right in front of the one person on the whole street...to poop in their yard or on the sidewalk in front of their yard. This creates quite a logistical challenge for me. I have a dog leash wrapped around each hand and I am pushing the stroller. So I park the stroller, get a bag out and as I am taking care of the poop....Katy will inevitably see a squirrel and dash away from me while she knows my guard is down. Silly, crazy wonderful dogs.

I'm Listening To....

I am loving the song "Johnny and June" by Heidi Newfield. Have you heard it? It is based on Johnny Cash and June Carter.

The chorus:
"I wanna love like Johnny and June, Rings of fire burnin' with you, I wanna walk the line, Walk the line, 'Till the end of time, I wanna love, Love ya that much, Cash it all in, Give it all up, When you're gone, I wanna go too, Like Johnny and June"

*Stop and Stare by OneRepublic

*You Never Let Go by Matt Redman

*Only You by David Crowder Band

*I'm Yours by Jason Mraz

*Let Go by Ingrid Michaelson

*Say by John Mayer

*Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis

*Fields of Gold (new version) by Sting

*Never Alone by BarlowGirl

*He Reigns by Newsboys

What have you been listening to lately?

Hide and Seek-Worst Hider Ever.....

That would be me. I tried hiding at least five times today from the boys...and I bust out laughing before they even have a chance to really search for me. I tried the closet in their room four times! And each time I tried as hard as I could not to laugh out loud (I can see them through the slots on the door) and the puzzled look on their faces KILLS me. So they hear my muffled laughter and find me instantly.
