We just had a fun visit with Grandpa and Grammy. The boys LOVED roughhousing with Grandpa and snuggling with Grammy. I think J purposefully woke up from his naps early to get some one-on-one snuggle and more zzzzs in with Grammy:

We rented a pontoon boat one day. It was fun...until the storms blew in and forced us to rush home with lightning, thunder, and HAIL all around us. Yes, hail. WHEN does it hail here ever? The boys fell asleep as we were scurrying back to the beach and they stayed asleep until we stopped. But it was fun until the storms forced us out of the water. It is so nice to be so close to the beach though. Geoff got the boat and drove it around to the beach close to our house and we just walked down and got in. The boys were very excited to see the boat and loved being out on the water.

Can you believe they actually have ice cream "boats"? There is a restaurant that even delivers pizza to your boat...
Here is our friend Suzanne holding a sleeping J in her lap during the rainstorm:
We also went to the beach. Who can resist a beach that has sugar sand? No kidding, it is like you are playing in brown sugar. So pretty.

We went to a downtown park by the water:
We saw squirrels, crabs, fish, and ducks:
And lots of playing and relaxing. Not a lot of sleeping though. The boys are worrying me. They are only sleeping for about one or two of their seven naps a week. Grandpa installed some nice locks on their closets so they can't empty out the entire closet into their cribs during their naptime anymore. Now they have moved onto their dresser drawers. They never even noticed them before. So I need to go out this afternoon and get hooks to lock those too. They are crying and banging on their bedroom door as we speak. I really hope they are not done with naptime yet. I certainly still need it!
