BATH TIME!

The boys are in a phase of loving bathtime. It is a treat for them. The last time I gave them a bath (Geoff takes the lead on bathtime most of the time-which is probably why the boys love it so much) J jumped out of his clothes and sceddaddled fast to jump into the tub saying "I have to go fast so I can be in front." So I guess the spot closest to the faucet is the coveted spot in the bath tub. Although in these pics W is in the front.

I asked the boys to peek over the tub...
Ummm...a little higher please...
There you are...
There are those brown eyes...
Now noses...

and sweet faces...

They have fun just being silly:

SiLLy BiLLiEs

I have been trying to use "manual" more on my camera instead of "auto" so one night I told the boys to make some funny faces for me for practice. They went crazy posing like they were in a photo booth or something...
Something...

Don't hurt yourselves!

Hy cha yah ma!

On a later note, they always fall asleep with their lights on in some precarious positions. Sometimes they are asleep on a stack of books, or the other night...W must have gone potty, then fell asleep trying to get his one-piece jammies on because Geoff said he was asleep with just his arms in and nothing else. I didn't get a picture of that though. Here are a couple of pics I did get...the one of J is funny...he must have got a hold of Geoff's patches and fell asleep with one right over his chest.

PARK before SNOW

The weather was beautiful the last few weeks so we took advantage knowing that a BLIZZARD was imminent. We brought the bikes too...to take advantage of the flat ground!

And it is blizzarding right now...so pretty!

Valentine Time

J and W opened a couple of small gifts on Valentines morning...

then we gathered up their Valentine cards...all signed by them:

...and went to their class yesterday so they could participate in the Valentine's festivities (they don't normally attend on Mondays). It was super cute watching them all take turns giving and receiving their cards and gifts.
Checking out their goods in their bags and envelopes they decorated at school last week.
Fun picture with their teachers and classmates (three were absent)

Geoff and I decided to postpone a Valentine's date until later in the week when we had time to actually enjoy going to dinner (he had a squadron dinner for a visiting pilot and I taught yoga) and we didn't want to fight all the crowds at the restaurants.
Sending love to all of our friends and family!

By the way...

Sorry about the gigantic picture at the top of the page. I am not sure why it is so big and can't figure out how to shrink it!

Well. Hello.

Whoa. It has been awhile since my last post...but...I think I have very good reasons. Geoff whisked away our computer for a tune-up so it was gone for a week...then it has taking me a few weeks to figure out where everything is now. AND my adobe photoshop was removed from the hard drive but not replaced so I am trying to learn a new photo program and I am not loving it.

But enough excuses...let's back up some! We were all sick sick sick sick sick. That is one "sick" for each of the five straight weeks of strep, pink eye, stomach flu, and mysterious fevers were jumping from W to J. In fact, here is the first look of liveliness from W after six days of sleeping and fighting fevers...things were turning a corner...

or so we thought. Until a day and a half later when J started to feel bad. And did a whole lotta this:

But we managed to squeeze in a fun skiing trip to Lake Tahoe (even while J was still recovering). It is so beautiful there. It is the first time I have been skiing since 2005 so it was fun to try it again. I was thrilled that I managed blues all day without injury. There was the moment that I jumped off the chair lift though...and crashed. Some photos...no not photos of the jumping and crashing part.
Grammy and W watching the gondola from the condo:

I like these next two pictures of W and Aunt JJ-it's like they are discussing their ski gear:

W did an all-day ski school the first day. I couldn't believe that he let strangers take him away to a snowy mountain - but I think riding in a snowmobile had something to do with it.

Heading out to the slopes (poor J had to stay in the condo):

But it wasn't so rough. He got to draw and read books and have books read to him, snuggle with his grandparents and watch movies. Check out the train books they got to look at:

We also got to share in celebrating Aunt JJ's birthday with her. Happy Birthday Jenette!

Saying good bye..

We enjoyed the snow here at home while it lasted! I believe it has been gone for 5 or 6 weeks or so now. Lots of sledding, pink cheeks, hot cocoa...

Katy just not wanting to let the Christmas tree go. We didn't either. Bye tree.

And bye for now!
