...continuing on from the last post...we hopped on a direct flight to Houston-no complications and no delays. We immediately hit Panera Bread to mark it off of our "restaurants we need to eat at" list. The boys wasted no time getting Grandpa to get his electric train out (the last thing they remember doing at Grandpa and Grammy's house). Then they got into the pool and pretty much stayed there or inside playing with the train the whole time. Except for one quick trip to a store and one dinner out they never left the house. Luckily Jenette was able to move her schedule slightly so we could see her for a full day and a half. I love these pictures with her and Avery.
Look closely...you will see Wyatt...just like a shark...approaching. The biggest smiles I see from Avery are when she sees her brothers.
...shark swoops in for a kiss.
Trying out some Pottery Barn Kids toys.
Uncle Matt, Aunt Amy, Chloe and Logan drove in for a quick weekend so Avery finally got to meet her cousins.

Our friends Tom and Jill and their sweet kiddos came over to swim...

Geoff, Tom and Matt

Considering the boys don't like going underwater and can't really swim yet...they were quite brave floating all over the pool on the floaties.

They loved paddling around in the raft.
We got to see Amy's parents Paula. Here is Paula with Wyatt and Avery and Ray is in a picture down below!

Mark hanging out by the pool with the kids. A and J really into the phone. Oh I almost forgot. See the yogurt sitting in the arm of the chair? Avery managed to grab it and got some on her foot. I took her inside to clean her off and she had completely broken out in hives. Bad. I can't say if it was the yogurt for sure but it is not a good sign if it was!
She looked so cute in her little swimsuit and swim cap! I just didn't get any pics of her in it looking happy. She wasn't very pleased to be in the pool that day.

Logan taking after Ray...I think these guys are on the opposite end of the growth charts. Logan is about 10 months older but still.
Amy with all the kiddos.
We went out for dinner one night with everyone and everyone got a little silly in the parking lot of "Juanita's".
I love these next couple of pictures with Avery and Aunt Amy.
Ray and Jack:
Jan helped me get some shopping done...Avery wasn't so much into the shopping trips but loved hanging out with Grammy. I wish I had my camera with me shopping because I didn't really get hardly any pics with Grammy on this trip. Our whole trip was fun and the time flew by...will have to make both stops longer next time...and be better about taking pictures!
Our "easy" travel day (one direct flight then drive home) ended up being the longest day. It took us 13-14 hours to get home. Our direct flight from Houston was delayed 2 1/2 hours before we even got started. The kiddos were a little out of sorts and yes, we were "those people" on the plane. But I think they did fine considering. Long day. Fun trip.
