We were far overdue to visit our families so we booked our tickets and flew south in August to see everyone. First stop, RENO.
The kids did great traveling...
After we landed in Texas, we drove straight to a mexican restaurant Papacitos. The food and handmade tortillas were amazing.

They especially loved the new nerf guns and dragons!
Avery was pretty fired up to open a little gift Aunt JJ and Uncle Jeff got her (she was a little confused why the boys had been opening presents and she hadn't opened anything).

Then we got to celebrate Jenette and Jeff! Here is a good looking-crew about to go to the neighbor's house for a wedding shower.

I am hoping to do a blog post of their Punta Cana wedding next after this post so stay tuned. Here are the hostesses (Annie and Amy B.) with Jenette.
It was all about the pool in the big Texas heat.
Just love these handsome boys....
Just love these handsome boys....
...and these cute cute girls....
Group shot minus Wyatt who was not interested in being in the picture. :)

Grammy and Grandpa had some fun water balls that lit up and changed colors at night. And let me tell you, Avery was in the pool that day for hours.
It's green!
It's red!
It's red again!
It's awesome.
We got to meet two new 4-legged family members.
Grammy and Grandpa's new dog Fire...
And Uncle Matt, Aunt Amy, Chloe and Logan's new pup Parker:
Parker surprised Jack when he came up from underwater.
Our friend Tom and his awesome family came over for dinner.
Another cake? Yes.
Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday Jack and Wyatt, Happy Birthday to you!!!!
Geoff and Matt got some good America Ninja Warrior training in at Sam Sann's gym in Houston. The boys played around some too.
On the last day this group (+ Aunt Amy who is the photographer) went to the Battleship Texas.
TENNESSEE.
We had fun relaxing and staying inside because it was HOT in Tennessee too. The kids had fun
playing with some of PJ and my old toys.
Wyatt settled right in and said "I look like Papap" (pic below taking Papap's spot on the couch) :)
We were so excited to meet Ivone...
and baby PJ! He is SO cute!
Papap, the boys and I went to the corvette museum in Kentucky.
In February of this year there was a sinkhole that 8 corvettes fell in. Including the one millionth corvette and the 1.5 millionth corvette ever made.
Crazy!
Of course the kids found more pool time.
And we got to see my dad's new GTO's. And we took some family pictures.
We had such a fun trip!
